Project Manager Needed- School Build


Charity organisation based in Arusha looking for a temporary member of staff available for an immediate start.

The assigned will need to be available to supervise the construction of 2 classrooms plus additional facilities as part of a new education project to be located within the Sombetini Ward.

Responsibilities to include:
· Directly reporting to organisation on all matters surrounding the construction.

· Adhering to construction plan as advised by organisation.

· Procuring all materials necessary to complete build.

· Procuring and supervision of workers to complete the build.

· Accounting for funds spent including regular financial reporting to organisation.

Person specification:
· Experience of supervising construction projects, in particular schools.

· Experience of micromanaging projects including staff and funds spent.

· Experience of working with a not for profit at project management level desirable.

· Ability to write reports and present information accurately.

· Personable and keeps time.

The assigned will work on a consultancy basis for a period of a few months until the work is complete. He/She will be salaried accordingly at a rate to be agreed at interview stage.
